The project concerns the configuration of a second floor apartment of an 18^th century Venetian architecture building of historical interest into a short term accommodation rental (airbnb type). The office team undertook the study and supervision of the renovation. The aim was the preservation and the enhancement of the special historical character of the apartment and at the same time its full functional utilization during its new use. The basic principle of the operation was to preserve the authenticity of the building through the preservation and maintenance of as many of its authentic elements as possible.
